Our Story
Shore Industries, founded by Mike Pugh in 2008, has emerged as a leading player in the textile manufacturing industry. Mike's passion for fabrics and sewing was inherited from his mother and coupled with his background in sail-making, he was able to create a thriving company. However, Mike did not rest there, he had a grand vision of directly marketing Shore Industries' high-quality products. To achieve this, several new brands were launched, including Shore Shade Sail and Porch Enclosures. The former provides stylish residential and commercial shade solutions, while the latter offers a hassle-free way to expand seating capacity and enjoy outdoor living all year-round. Fast forward to 2022, and Mike's vast knowledge and experience in the marine marketplace led to a collaboration with the Makefast Group. Together, they launched the exciting new Makefast USA venture at their Maryland facility, marking a significant milestone in the company's legacy.
